Cusworth Singers Home
The Cusworth Singers are a Doncaster based choir. We have 12 singers, 3 each soprano, alto, tenor and bass, and our conductor Mary Sayer who sings soprano or alto.
We perform a wide variety of music, from early madrigals and motets, through Victorian music to modern 20th and 21st century, music from opera and shows, even jazz.
The group were originally formed to celebrate Christmas at Cusworth Hall, and Christmas music is an important part of our repertoire. We sing at the Christmas Race meeting in Doncaster, at Cusworth Hall, hospitals and the Mansion House.
We are also actively engaged in helping charities by performing at concerts for a small charge to defray expenses.
And we perform at Weddings and other events by arrangement.
